Corona deteriorated in Punjab: More than 200 patients in 24 hours for the first time in 3 months; One death, 35 on life saving support

 The situation of corona in Punjab has started deteriorating. For the first time in 3 months, 202 new patients were found in 24 hours on Tuesday. One patient died in Ludhiana. At the same time, 35 people have reached life saving support. The positivity rate of Punjab has reached 1.81%. On Tuesday, 11,182 Kovid tests were done by taking 10,992 samples. The number of active patients in Punjab has gone up to 984.

The most worrying thing is that the situation of Kovid is not even being reviewed at the level of Punjab Government. The post of Health Minister is lying vacant in the government. After the dismissal of Minister Dr. Vijay Singla, CM Bhagwant Mann has kept this ministry with him.

After Ludhiana, Mohali, the infection intensified in Bathinda and Jalandhar.
In terms of corona, the situation in Ludhiana and Mohali remains worrisome. 64 patients were found in Mohali yesterday with a positivity rate of 9.25%. Whereas in Ludhiana, 24 new patients were found with the death of 1 patient. In Bathinda, 21 new patients were found with a positivity rate of 6.34%. 18 new patients were found in Jalandhar with a positivity rate of 1.28% and 17 in Patiala.

24 patients on oxygen, 1 ventilator
reached life saving support in Punjab, out of 35 patients, 24 patients have been kept on oxygen support. 10 patients have been shifted to ICU. On Tuesday, one patient from Bathinda and three from Ludhiana were sent to ICU. In Bathinda, a patient was shifted on ventilator.
